Re: Millenium motorcycles
Only dealings I've had with them wasn't favourable. Crashed a bike a while back. Insurance sent it to them ( approved repairer ) . They returned the bike to me with no working brakes front or rear. Sorted out the rear and had my local dealer sort the front brake so that I knew it worked. So personal...

Re: New helmet
Need to try a few on as others have said. Different manufacturers shells are different. Buy for the best fit. You are going to be wearing it for a while and 20 mins of a poorly fitting helmet is not fun. As others have suggested go to a shop with a good selection and try a few. One or two will suit ...

Re: Centre stand.
I would keep the centre stand on. I use it when cleaning the bike so much easier itv than a paddock stand.

Re: Tyre talk for the noob.
I had Maxxis touring tires on the Bandit. Think if iirc it was the supermaxx ones. Single compound , took forever to scrub in. Once scrubbed they were ok but in the wet they always felt a bit vague. Mileage lasted well considering they are single compound. So they last well, perfectly adequate in th...

Re: Warm Weather riding
Don't think that's arrogant at all. As one person say we all know the risks. I ride in jeans all the time but then I always wear a leather jacket, boots and gloves. I ride in a Triumph Mugello jacket which is vented and has a coating that reflects the heat. Usual summer mesh gloves ( winter ones are...

Re: Raven Big Breakfast
I was there this morning as well. Some nice bikes there. Was meeting some one from a different forum.
Was surprised at how busy it was.
First time I've been there.
Do they do regular bike meets etc?

Re: Breaking in...............
Whatever the manufacturer recommends. I'm still running in my trumpet. At least I have motorway speeds now.
Only a couple of hundred more miles till it's over and then can ride it as its meant to be.
