Re: Are insurance companies getting the message?
They haven't learnt. Last year my Tiger and F650 were on a 2 bke policy with Bennetts for £200 pa fully comp. Renewal came through last week for £340. I phoned up to haggle. The best they could do was £240. I'd already got an online quote for the 2 bikes for £178 so went with that. The stupid thing ...

Re: What would you buy?
Some interesting answers. Anyone wanting to go touring on an xr400 / 600 is a masochist. I made the mistake of going to france on a supermoto. I realised it was a mistake just south of warrington. Thinking about it you're right. I like the idea of going back roads/ trails and only doing short milea...

Re: What would you buy?
I think I'd get an old DR350 or XR400 and go round Spain and Portugal via little back roads and trails until the £5000 ran out.

Re: Cagiva LE750 Elefant
No. The bloke selling it turned out to be a bit of a dick and I thought life's too short to be wasting my time on him.
There's plenty more bikes to choose from.

Cagiva LE750 Elefant
Hi guys, After a bit of advise. I've seen a Cagiva Elefant LE750 in the Lucky Stripe livery that seems to be well looked after and in excellent nick for its age, with 23500 miles on the clock. I'm seriously thinking of buying it and getting rid of my F650 Funduro. I'm sure this is my heart ruling my...
