Re: Fishing for lurkers...

It worked. Another lurker pulled in, all be it a bit late. Nothing much to say really, that's why I lurk. Still enjoying all year round riding around the North Wales area. New biker cafe at Pontblyddyn on the A5104, spend a good bit of time there. Worth a visit. Ride safe.

Re: Breakdown cover

I would think Husband and Partner bikers would be far too much for anyone. 9 bikes and counting just for the 2 of us. Maybe I should have said, both on breakdown insurance have to have the same surname.

Re: 2 stroke engineer needed in the Northwest

It might be worth trying Newtons Engineers. Smith Street Liverpool. 01517272609. We have a job with them for hubbies velocette since April, it's still not ready, but at least it's in the pipeline.

Re: 2 stroke engineer needed in the Northwest

Grampian refused to do mine as they couldn't supply the parts needed. I got the parts, they still wouldn't touch it unless they supplied the parts. Very frustrating. The guy who eventually did it in Widnes can't take any more customers, far too busy. Dying breed these engineers. Hope you get sorted.

Re: 2 stroke owners

I am still riding my 1965 250cc Ariel Golden Arrow. Strange looking bike, very distinctive style and fun to ride.

I'm back too.

Looks like I'm back too. Is this something to do with eliminating some undesirables? Confused from Wirral! :?
