Could run it through one of those history check sites, not sure how often they get updated. That'll cost you a few £ though. I need to stay settled on a bike long enough to get a years no claims too.

Never had a crash, but never kept a bike for more than 9 months.

Think the insurance for my XJ6 is around £1100.
For my 125 when I first started riding was around £500.
