Looks like i can get a new starter button online but it looks like a real ballache to fit a new one, plus they're £20!!! Gutted. Good ride today though! I've had 2 bikes pass MOTs without mirrors even when they've had the mounts, but it really depends on your tester.
Just take it on Sat, the worst that can happen is they fail it and you bring it back within a few days for a free retest

Bollocks. Been using it for years and never had any issues. Cbr chain is on about 23k miles. Sd on 18k since I bought bike (chain already on it).
