You won't see the quality until they snap and you can see the cross section. Very VERY poor quality metal.

I've had 2 bikes pass MOTs without mirrors even when they've had the mounts, but it really depends on your tester.

Just take it on Sat, the worst that can happen is they fail it and you bring it back within a few days for a free retest
