A lot of tyre places won't do a permanent repair on a tyre once you have used any Slyme-type stuff. Something to be aware of.

Put an automatic halogen light on the front of the house. If anyone walks near they will trigger it. I wouldn't bother with one of those self-charging solar types, they aren't bright enough. Get a mains one with a 1000 Watt bulb.

Definitely agree with the recommendations for Firestorms. I love mine and wouldn't sell it, though other bikes have come and gone. The suspension is basic, but certainly good enough for the road. I can also live with the fuel range, 100-110 miles or so. I'm ready to stretch my legs by then anyway. A...
