Take a screaming highly strung beauty, leave her looks and handling intact, but replace her heart with a reliable road friendly beast :) Aren't the MuZ scorpion bikes a bit like that?...

Don't think it's worth much as it already has 47,000 miles on the clock.
Sounds like cutting your losses might be the best bet? Depends how attached you are to it I guess

Bloody hell - owning a Ducati is complicated - serviced my CB1000R yesterday - oil & filter then adjust and lube chain - clean the bike ! - Honda - press and go ! I do like Ducatis but they do seem to need a lot of tlc You have to do oil and filter? Pffft... What a waste of time... just use the bus...
