Well done for buying them at a real shop. The problem with trying them on in a shop and then saving a few quid on line is this - The shopkeeper will end up with a load of tatty stock that no one wants. Meanwhile they have to keep paying the wages of employees who are generally nice people and fellow...

It was good, but farrrrr too long. Gutted they wouldn't let him have one more go, he was well up for it Without ever having thought about it before, it was surprising how quickly the G forces increase with speed, it was some challenge Got to admit, on stuff like this I always wonder if the 'mentor'...

Cat and Fiddle closed
I went for a ride yesterday to the Cat and Fiddle with my lad. It was all shut up and had a sign in the window saying "Closed until further notice."
A shame because lots of people had turned up, (and it was bloody freezing!)
Let's hope it re-opens soon.

Is it going to be "official" with cops controlling the traffic etc?
The last time I did it, it put me off tbh, too many wobbly riders next to me made me worried and I probably took 5K miles off my clutch.

I take my bikes to Cadishead Motorcycles on the A57, it's a husband and wife team. Very fair and friendly.
