Re: Satnav installation
Just fit a top box and throw a map in it. You'll learn much more.

Buy the lead off of ebay (with an inline fuse) Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172329943253" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
then take off your seat and lift up your tank. Thread the wires along existing cabld route and connect to the battery with the fuse lead on the +ve terminal.

I prefer to run accessories off a switched live, such as a brake lamp switch.Stumoores wrote:Buy the lead off of ebay (with an inline fuse) Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172329943253" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or just buy a Z1000SX, comes with switched live accessory connection points in each side of the fairings.

Re: Satnav installation
Yeah, or a car, lots come with a satnav anyway, but they pretty much all have a lighter socketBaldrick wrote:Or just buy a Z1000SX, comes with switched live accessory connection points in each side of the fairings.
