Satnav installation

Anyone recommend or know a decent bike spark to hardware install a satnav onto my bike? (St.Helens area or surrounds)

Just fit a top box and throw a map in it. You'll learn much more.

Buy the lead off of ebay (with an inline fuse) Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172329943253" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
then take off your seat and lift up your tank. Thread the wires along existing cabld route and connect to the battery with the fuse lead on the +ve terminal.

Thanks for that, might be rusty but should still be able to find my way around a map after spending eleven years in the Girl Guides pathfinder section

I prefer to run accessories off a switched live, such as a brake lamp switch.

Or just buy a Z1000SX, comes with switched live accessory connection points in each side of the fairings. 8-)

Yeah, or a car, lots come with a satnav anyway, but they pretty much all have a lighter socket

Maps and sat navs are all good,until the Alzheimer sets in then you don't give a toss where you end up.mmm now what was we talking about?
