Looks like I can use a cbr1000 alternater/generater as I'm still on the 28amp and there the same so not going to be that much of a hit in the wallet.

But all work involved going take a weekend to do all rear has to come off

Finally got alternator out by cutting lugs off the bottom stupid place to put one but at least finally the 28amp one is out, had to spend a big chunk of the other project I was going to do to get the 40amp unit and drive, £320 for a second hand part scandalous.

Is that a garage or a parking space in a courtyard?

They must love you there.
Lol.
It looks like you put a toolbox on the seat and then strapped a hand grenade to the back of the bike and pulled the pin.
There are parts and tools everywhere!

Pmsl
