Got the engine running on a home made loom. Now need to find a pipe bender and decent welder (or both in one) to make the rear frame.

Also need to source some cheap YSS 450mm rear shocks

Steady progress mate, looking forward to a few mock up picture once you’ve tacked it all together. Them twisted v twins are majorly bullet proof.

So, as this is a shed/garage build and i’m not so flush i’d rather not scour and pay for some CB250 bar clamps, opting instead to do what every CX500 owner should do.... chop up the standard clamp obviously as the CB250 clamps are part of the mould ffs.

Chopped out, polished and painted = freebie.


New shocks mounted too with a seat and tank mock up although i have another tank now and will be making my own seat.
