Picked one up cheap with the kit to simply plug in and teach.
Seems to work well.
Has shift indicator and speed limit setting (if you want that?) as well as the gear indication.

Fuck off.
Its not top trumps you know.....

Lol.
Im surprised rich's ducati doesnt have one already tbh.
If I had the cash id love a translogic.
But my nice n bright gipro will do just fine.
When im an old fucker ill probably need great big numbers like that.
And a phone with huge keys too.

ROTFPMSLOL

It was nothing to do with having the cash.
The bike needed new clocks and the Trans-logic was a more attractive long term solution than replacement OE.
The "BIG" gear display and shift up annunciator LEDs were just a bonus.

Can't you just remember what gear you are in these days? I know they look cool bit does everything need to be on a readout? Speedo is all you need surely

You're largely right Rumpy IMHO. I wouldn't pay out specifically for a gear display. Like I say above, my clocks needed replacing and the gear display came in the package. However, the LED shift lights have proved their worth. On track it was all too easy to bounce the V11 off the rev limiter, as it pulls hard all the way up there. When a torquey V twin suddenly goes from full acceleration to full overun on corner exit things get interesting. There is no mistaking the LED beam of light the TransLogic gives to warn of this impeding feature.

My problem comes with switching between a 600 il4 and a 1000 v2 all the time.

Speed and revs are vastly different and I still end up looking for 7th now n then.

I only bought this cos it was cheap so worth a try.
