two wheelie bins (ones that aren't fooked) a 4" x 6" wooden beam across them and the straps you have. Taken an engine out of my capri that way when my engine lift popped.

So a few new goodies came today .. Oh dear I can not fix the new fan to radiator as the fixing holes are attached to old fan and I can not weld ally going to have to fabricate brackets some how new radiator is not a option as there expensive..

I've seen some American V8 engine builders tie their fans to the radiators (to save space) using something very similar to a tie strap (although it has baubles along its length, instead of notches).

Keep me posted with the updates, be interesting to hear how you solve this little problem.
