Re: Project bike in the post
probes are in your multi meter the wrong way around. I used to get this all the time on lifts as my meter's indicators/labels had off, ignore the -SMUDGER wrote:Nope tried it on three batteries all have -12 from sitting in shedlee wrote:Might be worth checking the charge now and after you have let it run for a bit.

Re: Project bike in the post
Well put together using the holes in cam as timing marks yeah don't ask moment of stupidity it didn't fire realised my mistake re timed it was running great then a lot of rattling I inspected and cylinder 2 inlet valve 2 shim and collects were off and valve stuck 2|3ds up I'm hoping it's a misfire caused it and quick fix second hand head... But until I remove the head tomorrow at a loss just hoping I don't need a new engine.. One out of sixteen isn't bad for me lollee wrote:Ouch.

Re: Project bike in the post
Tried taking left head off last night 3 bolts slightly rounded. Did some digging and seems the manual us wrong on timing says to time all four cams together when in fact not to right side first then turn crank then install and time left cams so hopefully there's no damage awaiting post man to bring some sockets tommorow
