So you would need the h4-1 hid kit anything over 6000k starts to become illegal. I ran 8000k no problems.
But you would need double check your bulbs as I said I could be wrong

I think they might be h4 mate but I won't know for sure until I have a look..I'm out today so I'll check later when I get home ..cheers pal

Just in case this wasn't sorted yet, the pre 03 sv usesH4 bulbs. And either way bradders, I'd get a HID kit for your sv, the oem lights are shockingly bad, even with PIAA's fitted!
