Oh carole nash were good to for the benelli last year, ewt 10 years old with a bit of pedigree/rarity and they can put you in 'future classics' insurance.
Wangled free DNA kit, £50 excess and a policy of £150 at the time (had just had an 'off' on my other bike too and they didn't put it up)
Their legal team was very good and fought my employer up into the high courts but my employer had more £££ in the end and forced a less than 50% success, that said carole nash had my bike sorted :)

Increases like that can mean that the insurers or underwriters no longer want to target bikes or your type of bike or even you as the rider.

Could mean the crime rate has gone up in your area.

The variety of factors used to quote are a black art.
