Early Blades, R1's 916's and SP's are now being bought up as the next 'investment' opportunity by the speculators and the more original and unmolested the bike the better.
Yeah, I am hoping that it holds its price or increases. The only non-standard thing on it are the cans, but I got the original ones with it, so I will keep them well wrapped up.
I think the previous owners spent more time polishing it than riding it, some years it had only done a few hundred miles. :-)

Thanks mate, yeah I couldn't sell the Firestorm, I have had it for years and it doesn't owe me a penny.
I had a nice Sprint ST and I sold it to get this one.

Good buy that, pal. Gorgeous bike!

Mate - you know what that is the only colour scheme i would have and after riding a couple of SP1's and not really liking them, i rode an identical SP2 owned by Alex from this ere Parish (what happened to Alex ?)
it was lovely and such a difference to the poor SP1.

i think that SP2 you have is a very pretty and capable bike. enjoy it,

Hi Paul!

Still here and still got an SP-2, albeit not the same one:

My favourite colour scheme. The all black is nice but the painted frame and swingarm don't look nearly as premium, and are prone to marking.

OP: Great choice!
