A KTM with an Aprillia plate with an irish reg - what could possibly be wrong

Same bike on a withdrawn Gumtree ad - http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

He also sold this bike, similarly registered on a different VIN plate: http://www.gumtree.com/p/other-motorbik ... /100870448" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The lad even admits in his ads that the bikes are cloned (using another bike's identity).

I wonder how long it'll be until the boys in blue nip round to haggle a deal :lol:

The really bad thing is you can;t even report it on Ebay unless you are from a law enforcement agency.

Talk about make it easy for the crooks.

Oh dear, oh dear. I'm glad I didn't train as an English Language teacher as that is some piss poor writing. I've seen a few suspect bikes on fleabay recently.
Very shady switching Vin plates onto a different frame. Not many people would know what they were looking at either. The decals would kinda scream 'hot' if you even just text that HPI text checker thing.

And now he's added a note saying the logbook is "away getting the colour changed."
Yeah right :-)

If you check on the DVLA site it does say it's an Aprillia and black - well dodgey - but have you seen how many bids are on it - 37 and it's at over £2000 :o :o
