Good deed - please read

Post by Clarkey » 06 Jan 2016, 18:06

If you're not currently a blood donor, but are willing and able, will you sign up please?

It's something I've meant to do for years, and finally got round to it today. I thought I'd bug people with texts and post on here, then if I can get someone else to sign up then that's two good deeds in a day!

Weekend appointments are available.

Thanks

Nice one pal.
Takes a few mins and makes a huge difference.

Plus you get a brew and biscuits!

not too mention some of the "nurses" who look amazing too !!!

its a great cause and well worth doing at your local hospital or when the blood truck is in your area

You can give blood without even owning a bike.

I've been giving blood for years. Up to donation 48 now.

It's really easy to do. takes less than an hour (including drinking water and filling in paperwork) and you can even book appointments. Most venues do from 08:30 and have late nights too.

Another big plus is they test you for all sorts of illnesses so it's like a free MOT.
