In car dash camera

Post by rumpoldstilskin » 30 Mar 2016, 11:25

My misses has had two near misses on her way to work in as many days, this morning some bint using her rear view mirror to apply makeup hit her and carried on driving.
So...... She has my GoPro for now but i'd like to buy her a dash cam, in the sub £50 bracket as she works in a rough area.

Any recommendations?

I was going to buy her the SJ4000 magic cam but ebay is awash with dodgy sellers and fake goods :/

Worth a read
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessorie ... -test-2016" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Bit more than you want to pay but may be some used ones on ebay.

Easily removed to stop anyone nicking it.

If you have a Bargain Buy's/Discount UK near by they have a HD Dashcam for around £20.

Not seen it in action though so I can't comment on what it'll be like.

Thanks guys. I popped to Halfrauds to see what they had as they have demo's & could see the viewing angle and met a biker there who had this;
He shown me a clip on youtube that he posted and that was me sold- looked just as good as my Hero4 only 7x cheaper @£45 with mounts and cases etc!!!!

Plus unlike the majority of dash cameras on sale, even those over £250, it has a 170 degree view compared to 120 on the expensive ones.

Time will only tell but with good reviews, being cheap and small enough to hide in her handbag i'm hoping its a good buy Image

......now the misses best be testing it in the bedroom else its going back hahahaImage

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351588542606? ... EBIDX%3AIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; we use one of these. Cheap as chips and its not too bad you know! The 1080p mode is awful, but in 720p its spot on..
