Some may find this interesting but the Dakota in the background of the photo above is an ex resident of Liverpool Airport.
Drag-Em-Oot was based from 2005 to 08/09 before moving to East Kirkby to be based with a Lancaster "Just Jane", and has now been joined by a DH mosquito.

"Just Jane" was at Blackpool a while before being auctioned and ended up at RAF Scampton next to the gate before the brothers at East Kirby bought it as a memorial to their brother who was killed in a bombing raid.

I paid for the lad to do the VIP day(taxi run) for his 30th, he has been mad about Lancasters since he was a kid going down to his grandmas in lincoln & visiting the Airfield & museums

And by a strange conicidence, here is me & the mrs in front of it at Scampton the first time I ever took her to meet my mum in lincoln, a lifetime ago

I think it was at Scampton from 70 - 82/83 as AJ-S Sugar which is now at Hendon was on the gate before "Just Jane".
There's an urban myth in regards to the Grand Slam/Tallboy being live as well.

The last picture was nov 85 so it was there bit later JR.
