Not sure anyone is looking on here anymore, lol... but just in case

Did anyone watch WSBK over the weekend at Donington? What did you think about the decision on 2nd place in the sprint race? I don't see how common sense couldn't have won there, to me the guy who was in 2nd place at the point the red flag came out 100% deserved the win, seems extremely unfair. I know rules are rules, but surely there's got to be some common sense

Agreed Clarkey, it beggars belief anyway how they can let the rest of the field round again when half a dozen bikes have already gone down in a major incident. At least make some effort to keep them away from the oil. They reckon his data showed he hadnt slowed much but I cant imagine that he hadnt after seeing red flags, he was still behind Rea anyway. It seems a harsh punishment for sure

Still hard not to feel it was at least sightly unfair, but the attached has changed my view a little...

Yeh i have since read that too. It certainly makes you think again. But i still think that due to the severity of the first incident, they should maybe try to keep them off an obviously dangerous section of the circuit. But rules ate rules i suppose

I guess the organisers felt they did enough, but Rea nearly fell and Sykes hit the deck... You could hardly call them inexperienced. No silver lining
