Good bye Diavel

Post by rumpoldstilskin » 16 May 2021, 23:55

So, it's with great sadness the time has come to hang up my leathers, I wish this was an impeding new born and not what it is.
Due to a very serious OFF in 2010 my leg and ankle have never really healed, fast forward to now and finally I'm booked in for the 1st in a Series of operations to try and save my right foot and hopefully, eventually, replace my ankle.

I will however be off my feet for some 24 months, so the Diavel being the big bird she is has to go to someone else.

If anyone wants her or knows someone who wants a bargain of the year please holla, 07540435338 Will.

2012 Ducati Diavel Carbon

Used but not abused, VGC used for touring as it should.
3 owners including me.
30k on the Clock

£6900 no offers. Makes her the cheapest and probably the most kitted out in the country.

2 seats, touring and leather to match the Shad touring kit
Full Shad, almost as New, hard luggage, removable internals and back rest
New Gen 2 alloys
New chain and sprockets
Almost full MOT
New exhaust system (other was tarnished everyone knows I like shiny)
New battery last month
Denalli sound bomb horn
Oxford touring 5 mode Heated grips
Optimate
USB charger under seat
New air filter
New. Front pads
DRL
New RH switch gear (got discoloured)
2 sets of fairing (took the carbon off to save from damage)
New screen cowl
Ducati Touring screen
New fork seals and wipers at last MOT tuther month.
Anti Wheelie (flip over)
Traction control
ABS
Keyless ignition
2 keys
Spare new clutch
Has an exhaust solenoid delete module fitted.
Fully adjustable front and rear shocks, rear is on a remote dial.
Adjustable Ducati levers

Remus Carbon exhaust (No baffle though, never came with it)
Spare new fluid resovoir covers x2
Will come with an ABBA type paddock stand (black)

Running 162bhp, good on fuel, cheap to tax and insure.
Rides like a dream, bit of a power house though, you will need some arms on you as it launches very very well.

Power can be turned down to 100bhp but then.... Why would you unless it was raining?

Was thinking more along lines of keeping you employed and giving a year of sick pay, but i think your suggestion is also fair

Hahahaha I'd have me put down if I had the opportunity.
He said he'll ferry me to and from work as much as he can and let me work from home the rest, luckily its a childhood best friend.

1) I thought you were teaching?
2) how do you fix up a car while off your feet ironside (lol).
3) how did you get a badly twisted sock in the first place.
The mrs isnt speaking to me so i thought is ask personal questions of you to entertain me.

Lmao, I quit teaching, too much politics and not child centered anymore.
The car is going on a rotisserie so it'll turn over so I can weld seated.
