Where's it gone?

Where in the 2009 highway code does it advise that you may pass either side on a one way street? Buggered if I can find it.

Found this on a theory test exercise web page :

http://www.driving-test-success.com/m/r ... swers.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Where may you overtake on a one-way street?
A. Only on the left-hand side
B. Overtaking is not allowed
C. Only on the right-hand side
D. Either on the right or the left

You can overtake other traffic on either side when travelling in a one-way street. Make full use of your mirrors and ensure that it’s clear all around before you attempt to overtake. Look for signs and road markings and use the most suitable lane for your destination.

Yep, just can't find any mention in the highway code.

Reference to one way streets here ( but not 'overtaking' as such)

https://www.gov.uk/general-rules-all-dr ... 133-to-143" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Rule 163 on overtaking :

Nothing really specific about overtaking / undertaking on one way streets ....
