I love lanzarote and fuetaventura but we have been there loads of times.
Turkey is a decent bet. Went fethiye a few years back and was superb.

So any recommendations for a family holiday in mid September?

The past few years I've been away I used holiday lettings to book a villa, not everyone's cup of tea but I'm not a big fan of busy places so space and private pool is a idea for me. Also if you can get flights cheap enough the overall price is pretty reasonable.

Fin is only gonna be 2.
I also agree with FrumpledForeskin, Palma Nova is good. Stay in Palma Nova so you're close to Magaluf to have a look during the day, but have the quiet of Palma Nova at night Image

Mallorca was a great holiday last year! Stayed in Club Hotel Tonga - their entertainment was superb! Hotel has just been renovated too, which has made their price more expensive but I'd definitely go back! Plus its only a 2hr 30 flight!

Ramsey is good. Handy for the mountain and the chippys are ok.
On the minus side, you might need a sidecar fitted ......

Seriously though, Portugal is great, they really like the English and it's pretty resonable at the moment.
