EU exit, for or against?
Re: EU exit, for or against?
Oh of course. Like the vote remain, I hang around hoping to see change from the inside, rather than vote out and thinking everything will be better on our own.Cabernet wrote:Oh, you are still around then.C-J wrote:Restrictions being proposed on import of French wine... But back on topic.....
If vote out wins, I'm assuming Cameron will stand down... Will Boris take his place??? That could be interesting..
Re: EU exit, for or against?
A hybrid solution of in/out would be the perfect solution.
Unfortunately we would have to vote out in order for the government to listen to what the people want, instead of deciding for themselves without any consideration for others, or both sides of the argument.

Re: EU exit, for or against?
I'm still just on the side of staying in because of the risk of losing the banks to Germany and the fear of what would happen to the NHS and our employment laws in the hands of Boris, Gove and IDS. Part of me remains fascinated by what the scenario would be if we vote out, I don't believe the majority of us would really see drastic changes, I don't believe in or out it would change immigration much but I do think it could mean a lot of changes to the UK in terms of Scottish and Welsh independence as well as the Irish border stuff.
Retaining/regaining our sovereignty is a load of (I'm on a work computer so can't say the word) which means nothing other than to the Daily Mail reading foaming at the mouth rabid jingoistic morons.

Why do you say that Ozmo? The Lisbon treaty signed by Gordon Brown, spells it out pretty clearly.

Did an
Ip dip do my blue shoe
Landed on IN, fucked either way IMHO as always.
No way would thay extra £ be kept here, no way would anything go down in price and they will not stop people coming here and claiming £ from the state as this country is too softly softly nicely nicely to everyone bar its own.
Ain't bothered either way, as long as i can still buy custard creams and shit in a normal loo and get ripped off as much as i do now/ whats the difference.
I do wonder how much tax payers money has been wasted on this campaign though
