New Bike - Yamaha FZS600 Fazer

Post by MrMoog » 03 Apr 2017, 12:51

Here she is & yes that's me.....should I blank my face out? Lots of weirdo's on the interwebs these days lol
2002 model with 39k
upgrades:-
Sport exhaust (Delkovic I think)
crash bungs
double bubble screen
Oxford heated grips
Adjustable leavers
Radiator guard
Fancy seat with Fazer on it
Braded front hoses
It's also one of those Scotoiler thingies which I only noticed this morning. (not sure if it works though)

Keith Dixons Yamaha gave me £1400 for my CBF and I paid £600 on top for her so well chuffed. They even put a new front tyre on her and 12 months MOT plus 6 month warranty.
Happy days ahead :)

Nice one! I haven't been to Dixons in years, forgot about em to be honest but in 1999 I traded up from my 2 year old CBR 600 to a VFR750 same age and he did me a deal I could hardly refuse.

Very nice mate. And I wouldn't worry about your face, you'll blend right in with all the other weirdo's

Always had respect for them.
Enjoy; carefully.

Ha yeah good one :)

I will be taking it easy cheers guys, The bike is scarily quick and totally understand how easy and quickly things could go very wrong if I get overconfident in the wrong place. I have been in some quick cars in my time, hell my current car is pretty darn quick but one thing I am learning fast is that bikes are in a different league altogether in fact its a different game entirely.

One of these are on my shortlist for a bigger bike, along with an SV650 and a 600 Bandit.
Have you thought about a track day?

The old Fazer's were good!
I had one of the first new FZ6N and it was a pile o'shite by comparison.

Look after that Fazer and it'll last years!

Would pass up a Bandit. FZ6 or SV or CBR6f
