I thought it sold not long after it came into the shop but the buyer only wanted it as an investment so Gary keeps it? That's what I heard, but only second hand

Not sure modifying one is a great idea.
The seat and tank were a single piece.
Best way to de value a classic or collectors bike.

Not sure on that, i just know he’s had it in the window for year and up for £100k
